Syntax:

upgrade <ipv6-address> <word>

upgrade <ip-hostname> <word>

Parameter :

<ipv6-address> TFTP server ipv6 address. IPv6 address is in 128-bit

records represented as eight fields of up to four hexadecimal digits with

a colon separate each field (:).For example, 'fe80::215:c5ff:fe03:4dc7'.

The symbol ':: is a special syntax that can be used as a shorthand way

of representing multiple 16-bit groups of contiguous zeros; but it can

only appear once. It also used a following legally IPv4 address. For

example, '::192.1.2.34'.

<ip-hostname> TFTP server ip address or hostname

<word> Firmware image file name

NOTE: This page facilitates an update of the firmware

controlling the switch. Uploading software will update all

managed switches to the location of a software image and

click. After the software image is uploaded, a page announces

that the firmware update is initiated. After about a minute, the

firmware is updated and all managed switches restart. the

switch restarts.

ARNING

While the firmware is being updated, Web access

appears to be defunct. The front LED flashes Green/Off with a

frequency of 10 Hz while the firmware update is in progress.

Do not restart or power off the device at this time or the

switch may fail to function afterwards.

EXAMPLE:

Switch(firmware)# upgrade 192.168.1.100 managed.bk
